First Visit FAQ
The first “regular” dental visit should be no later than your child’s first birthday. And at our office we do check-ups for kids under age 3 for FREE! We will gently examine your child’s teeth and gums. X-rays may be taken to reveal decay and check on the progress of your child’s permanent teeth under the gums. We may clean your child’s teeth and apply topical fluoride to help protect the teeth against decay. We will make sure your child is receiving adequate fluoride at home. Most important of all, we will review with you how to clean and care for your child’s teeth.
We want your child’s first dental visit to be awesome! We will do our very best to make it that way. With specially trained doctors and staff, fun prizes, wall murals and movies, our office is a place kids love! We also cater to teenagers with massage chairs, surf theme decor and gift card drawings. Your kids from 0-18 will be comfortable here!
We try our best to see your child at a time convenient for you. We are open Monday-Friday 8:00am – 5:00 pm. If you have pain or an emergency, we will do our best to see you that day. Every effort is made to stay on schedule and minimize your waiting. Emergency cases occasionally arise and cause delays. We appreciate your understanding and patience.
